About me

From a very young age, I have always been fascinated by animals. I didn’t have dolls, but stuffed animals, faithful companions of my imagination. My passion for the animal world was so strong that I wrote letters to everyone I thought was connected to animals, hoping to be able to work with them. I received wonderful replies, encouraging me to get back in touch later… because I was only 8 years old!

When I went for walks in the woods, birds and squirrels would sometimes land on my arms or shoulders, as if we were naturally connected. This deep connection with animals has always been a part of me. My dream was to become a zoologist, to go to Africa to film wild animals. But life took me down a different path: I obtained a Master’s degree in anthropology, and my love for animals had to find other ways to express itself.

I then devoted a lot of time to animal rescue, particularly in New York, where I took in many stray cats. Today, with the passing of the years, and since I moved to Dieulefit, I have felt the need to find a more sustainable and appropriate way to support the animal cause.

I am delighted to be able to host La voie animale to bring us closer to our animal neighbours.

This website supports my mission to raise awareness, promote discovery and encourage respect for the animal world. I hope it will help people understand how unique each species is… just like us!
